Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses following a road rage incident in Sturmer, near Haverhill, which resulted in a vehicle being damaged.

It happened on Wednesday (22 November), at around 9.40am.

A blue Toyota Aygo was being driven along the A1071 Rowley Hill in Sturmer when a driver in a white van, possibly a Volkswagen Crafter Luton, that had a tail lift at the rear, tried to overtake.

At the junction with the B1061 Water Lane, heading towards Kedington, the driver of the van, a man, pulled alongside and got out of the vehicle.

It is reported the man then punched the driver side window of the Toyota, causing it to smash, before telling the driver to get out.

The driver of the Toyota drove off before contacting police.

The driver of the Volkswagen is described as white, short and of a stocky build.

Police say they're keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has relevant dash cam footage.
