Slight fall in Covid-19 cases in Suffolk

There were nearly 2,000 new confirmed cases in the last week.

486 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Ipswich in the last week.

There have been 190 cases in Babergh, 604 cases in East Suffolk, 228 cases in Mid Suffolk and 476 cases in West Suffolk. All areas have decreased in cases since last week.

That's according to figures from the County Council, which show between 20th-27th January, there were 1984 new confirmed cases in Suffolk, which is down slightly on the previous week.

Up to 15th January, 985 people died in the county, where Covid-19 was mentioned.
