An annual community festival in Suffolk has been cancelled because of a lack of funding.

Organisers of the Saxmundham Community Festival, known as Sax Fest, say this July's free-to-attend event has been called off, after they secured insufficient funds.

The Suffolk event, which usually features live music and tribute acts, along with family entertainment and activities, received a £6,000 grant from the National Lottery towards last year's festival.

Organisers say they already have plans are in progress for a bigger and better 2024 music festival, and have launched an online 'Save Sax Music Fest' survey, to help them plan for next year's event.
