Racist graffiti has been sprayed on a skate park in Eye

Police say it will not be tolerated in our communities.

Police are investigating after graffiti which contained racist and sexual comments were sprayed onto a skate park on Magdalen Street over the East weekend.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information about the reports of criminal damage between 7.30pm on Friday 2nd April and 7am on Saturday 3rd April to come forward.

Inspector Mark Jackson said: "Graffiti like this will not be tolerated in our communities and we will continue to carry out high-visibility patrols in the area.

"Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances and I would urge anybody with any information to contact police."

Anyone who saw what happened or has information should call police on 101, or log their information on the Suffolk Police website, quoting reference 16577/21.
