Cause of Suffolk primary school fire confirmed

The fire started in a toilet on Monday

Firefighters say a fire at a school in Ipswich was caused by an electrical issue.

Seven crews were called to Otley Primary School, in Chapel Road, at 3:37pm on Monday 9th December.

The fire started in a ground floor toilet and then spread to the roof of the single storey building.

It took two hours to put out the blaze.

No one was hurt.
