Suffolk police searching for prison absconder

He was reported missing whilst on a temporary release

Police are appealing for help to trace a prisoner who has absconded from Hollesley Bay, in Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Cameron Jones, aged 24 and previously from the Wigan area in Greater Manchester, was reported missing to police on Sunday afternoon (14th May), whilst on a temporary release.

He is currently serving an eight years and six months sentence for conspiring to supply Cocaine, wounding with intent and acquiring/using/being in possession of criminal property.

Jones is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, of medium build, with brown hair.

He has a full tattoo sleeve on his left arm.

Officers sat enquires are ongoing and anyone who has seen him or seen a male matching the description given or knows of his whereabouts should not approach him but should contact Suffolk police.
