Police launch appeal after man asks child in a Suffolk play area to go home with him
He also asked where the child's mother was
Police are looking for witnesses after a man asked a child in a play area in Suffolk to go home with him.
Officers say the child was playing with a friend at Leavenheath village hall at 6.50pm on Thursday 29 June, when the man approached and asked one girl where her mother was.
He then asked if she could tell him where the post office was and then come to his address afterwards.
Both children ran off and reported the incident to the adult who had brought them.
The man is described as elderly, grey haired and riding a black mobility scooter.
