Police appeal after teenager assaulted in Ipswich

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was assaulted in Ipswich.

It happened at around 6:55pm on Monday (October 31) at the junction of Kingfisher Avenue and Hawthorn Drive.

The boy was with a group of friends who were approached by a second group of young people.

A boy from the second group then hit him in the face. He suffered minor injuries and dropped his mobile phone, damaging it.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Suffolk Constabulary.
