Police appeal after Poppy Appeal charity box stolen in Ipswich

It was taken by a man on Chesterfield Drive on Friday

Police are appealing for witnesses after a Poppy Appeal charity box was stolen in Ipswich on Remembrance Day.

It happened along Chesterfield Drive at around 6:30pm on Friday (November 11).

A man stopped at the wall mounted box, before throwing the poppies on the ground and prising the money box from the wall.

The suspect is described as a white man who was possibly wearing a work uniform.
