Police appeal after man robbed at Bury St Edmunds nature reserve

A man was assaulted and robbed by a group of eight men

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed and assaulted at a nature reserve in Bury St Edmunds.

It happened between 7:15pm and 8:pm on May 10 at Tayfen Meadow.

A man on a red bike was approached by a group of eight men who punched and kicked him, before taking his mobile phone, tobacco and personal documents.

As he was leaving the park a woman attempted to punch him, but missed.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Suffolk Police.
