Police appeal after alleged assault in Ipswich

Following a verbal altercation, a male victim, aged in his late 20s, allegedly had a glass thrown in his face.

Police are appealing for help to locate a man they want to speak to in connection with an alleged assault in Ipswich.

It took place between 1.15am to 1.45am on 24 July last year, at St Jude’s Brewery Tavern on St Matthew's Street.

Following a verbal altercation, a male victim, aged in his late 20s, allegedly had a glass thrown in his face.

Police say the glass smashed and caused the victim to sustain a broken tooth.

Anyone who recognises the individual depicted or knows of his whereabouts are asked to contact Ipswich police quoting crime number 37/47139/22.
