Person dies after being hit by train between Ipswich and Colchester
It happened close to Benfleet this morning
A person's died after being hit by a train between Colchester and Ipswich this morning.
British Transport Police were called to the line near Bentley after 8:30am.
Paramedics also attended the scene, pronouncing one casualty dead.
The line was closed after the incident by was fully open again by 11:30am.
The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file is being prepared for the coroner.
