Woman in her 80s knocked down by van in car park at Copdock Interchange

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a woman in her 80s was hit by a van on the outskirts of Ipswich.

It happened last Tuesday (November 28) at 10:55am in the Tesco car park at the Copdock Interchange.

The 80 year old suffered a head injury during the collision, involving a Mercedes Sprinter flatbed.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Witnesses are being urged to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
