Felixstowe Museum’s Fantastic Olympic Brick Trail has been extended.

The Olympic Brick Trail will now continue at Felixstowe Museum until the end of October

Felixstowe Museum created The Fantastic Olympic Brick Trail to celebrate Tokyo 2020 and intended on finishing today (5 September), but due to its popularity it has now been extended until the end of October.

The trail sees visitors looking through hidden Olympic or Paralympic sport scenes to find a letter which will form a mystery word to then be unscrambled. Those who take part will receive a certificate and some sweets.

Olympian, Bill Tancred from Felixstowe opened the trail and all those who complete the trail will have the chance of winning a 2kg discus signed by him.

Andy Calver, Manager and Curator of Felixstowe museum said:

“We’ve had a fantastic response, as team GB is doing really well in the Paralympics we have decided to continue it until the end of the season, so it’ll go on until 31st October.

We’re following government guidelines, social distancing and people are wearing masks. It’s great seeing people out again and we’ve been really quite busy.”
