Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Bramford.

Officers were called to Paper Mill Lane by the ambulance service just after 2:20pm yesterday, following reports of a collision involving a black Volvo car and a black Suzuki motorcycle.

Suffolk Police, National Highways, the East of England ambulance service and air ambulance crew were all in attendance to the incident.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 30s, sustained serious head injuries which are being treated as life-threatening and was taken to Addenbrookes’ Hospital by air ambulance for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition.

Paper Mill Lane was closed in both directions for collision investigation work and reopened by 11:20pm yesterday evening.
