Motorcyclist dies following crash in Suffolk

A man's died following a crash in Hoxne.

Police were called at 9.55am yesterday morning (Thursday 15 February), to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B1118, involving a silver Kawasaki motorbike and a red Volkswagen T-Roc.

Ambulance and fire crews also attended, along with a critical care team from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS).

Despite the best efforts of all the emergency responders, the rider of the motorcycle – a man in his 30s – died at the scene.

The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

Officers are now urging any witnesses, or those with dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
