He is believed to have driven his car, a blue Skoda (registration CX11 ZBP), which remains outstanding.
Police believe he may have initially travelled to Ipswich and officers have been conducting searches around the River Orwell and surrounding coastline, with the assistance from the Coastguard and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SulSAR).
Police are now asking for residents and dog walkers to be attentive when walking along the River Orwell and River Deben coastline, as well as in woodland areas in the Ipswich and Woodbridge areas, and to report any information that may assist police.
