Firefighters tackle barn fire at Mildenhall Stadium

Firefighters have spent the night putting out a blaze at Mildenhall Speedway Stadium.

It broke out in a barn containing machinery around 5:30pm yesterday evening (Tuesday 30th July).

18 teams from across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire help put out the fire, on Hayland Drove, West Row.

The incident was scaled down the incident around 11:30pm last night - though a couple of teams remain on site this morning.

No injuries were reported.
