A man has been left with multiple broken bones after being attacked in Sudbury on Monday (2 May).

He was found injured on East Street at around 8:30am. He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital where he was found to have a broken ankle, broken nose and a possible broken knee.

It's thought he left the Infinity nightclub at around 3am and was assaulted close to the Brewery Tap pub a short time later.

The victim believes he was followed out of the club by a man and a woman. He was then attacked and knocked unconscious by the man.

Police are looking for anyone who was in the area of East Street between 3am and 4am on Monday morning.

Officers are also appealing for CCTV and dashcam footage taken in the area.
