Man questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after Saxmundham stabbing
A 19 year old man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital
A man's been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing and assault in Saxmundham last night (November 15).
A 19 year old man is in a stable condition in hospital after the attack on Mayflower Avenue at around 10:20pm.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening, but he suffered injuries to his back, arms and side.
A 29 year old man is being questioned after the assault and is being held at Martlesham police station.
Another assault in the same area, where an 18 year old man was hit in the face, is also being investigated.
There's an increased police presence in Mayflower Avenue today.
