Man punched in the head during assault in Hadleigh
Police were called to Hadleigh High Street on Saturday
Police are looking for witnesses after a man was punched in the head during an assault in Hadleigh over the weekend.
It happened on Hadleigh High Street, close to the Little Ginger Bee Company shop, between 1:30pm and 2:30pm on Saturday (May 6).
The victim was hit by someone who approached him from behind. Falling to the floor, he was then punched again in the head.
He suffered injuries to his hands, legs and head.
The suspect then drove off in a dark blue Peugeot towards Bridge Street.
He's described as being white and around 25 years old, with short ginger hair and wearing a grey tracksuit.
