Police have confirmed a man died over the weekend
Police in Sudbury have confirmed a man died after being found unresponsive in the River Stour over the weekend.
Officers were called on Sunday afternoon to reports a man had been found in the water.
Despite the efforts of First Responders he died.
Police say the matter is not linked to any current missing person appeals and police have finished informing the man's family.
All three emergency services were on the scene and say their thoughts are with the gentleman's family at this difficult time.
