Man dies after car hits pedestrian in Melton
The man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Melton early this morning (May 8).
Police were called to the B1438 Melton Road at around 12:25am, to reports of a collision involving a grey Seat Ibiza.
The man who was hit by the car, in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remained closed until 6:15am this morning to investigations continued.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who captured dashcam footage at the scene to get in touch.
