Man convicted over spate of vehicle crimes in Haverhill

A man's admitted to tampering with three vehicles in Haverhill.

Wayne Read, who's 37 and from Fritton Court, admitted to three counts of interfering with a motor vehicle at Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday 11th January.

It comes after reports of vehicles being tampered with on Saturday 9th January.

He was sentenced to a 12 month community order, up to 15 days RAR (rehabilitation) and ordered to pay a fine of £95.

Another male who was also arrested in connection with the thefts has been released pending further investigations.
