A man has been charged with multiple offences after a police incident in Ipswich earlier this week.
A large number of police were called to the Lindbergh Road on Wednesday after a car was spotted driving suspiciously.
The vehicle, a Mini Cooper, was later found abandoned and was seized, as it was linked with a burglary on Constable Road.
A 35 year old man was arrested at the scene.
Lee Nicholls, of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary of a property on Constable Road, dangerous driving, taking a vehicle without consent, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and affray.
He's been remanded in custody.
Superintendent Andy Martin, of Suffolk Constabulary, said: “Police would like to thank the public for their support and understanding - their safety is always the priority in such situations.
"This was a swift response to an ongoing incident which led to both a safe conclusion and the arrest and charge of a man.”
