Man charged with drugs and weapons offences in Ipswich
The 21 year old has appeared in court today
A man has been charged with drugs and weapons offences following a police raid in Ipswich earlier this week.
Officers targeted a property in Clapgate Lane on Tuesday (December 20), finding suspected Class A drugs as well as a knife and knuckle duster.
Cash and mobile phones were also seized.
21 year old Riaz Hushen, of Clapgate Lane, has appeared at Ipswich Magistrates Court today charged with two counts of possession of an offensive weapon, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, and possession of a Class B drug.
The raid was carried out as part of an ongoing operation to tackle gang activity in Ipswich.
