Man charged after string of assaults in Haverhill

It's alleged he attacked members of the public and police officers

A man has admitted to seven different offences after a series of assaults in Haverhill last week.

Police made the arrest late in the evening on Friday (30 December).

44 year old Marc Prime of Elmdon Place in Haverhill was charged with three counts of assault on three different members of the public on 30 December.

He was also charged with four counts of assault on police officers.

He's been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Ipswich Crown Court for sentencing at a later date.
