Man charged after fatal road traffic collision in Ingham

A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with a serious road traffic collision in Ingham in which one man died.

Suffolk Police say they were called at just after 2:50pm on Monday, 25 April, to reports of a collision on the A134 involving a lorry and a white Ford Transit Van.

Ambulance and fire crews were also in attendance but the driver of the van – a man aged in his 40s died at the scene.

Kalin Angelov was arrested following the collision and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning, after receiving treatment at hospital for minor injuries.

He has now been charged with causing death by careless driving.

Angelov has been remanded in custody and will appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court.
