Man assaulted in Ipswich while trying to help women who was being harassed
It happened in the early hours of Sunday near Alexandra Park

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted while trying to prevent a woman being harassed in Ipswich.
It happened at around 4:10am on Sunday (October 23) in Grove Lane, near Alexandra Park.
The woman was being harassed by two men. When a third man tried to intervene he was assaulted, suffering minor cuts and bruises.
The suspects are described as having short dark hair, one with a goatee beard.
