Man arrested after racially aggravated incident in Ipswich

Police are appealing for further information and witnesses.

At around 10.10am on Thursday 1st April, a man went into Coes Newsagents on Thoroughfare and confronted a member of staff and made racially aggravated comments towards them.

Officers arrested a 39 year-old man in the town a short time later on suspicion of a Section 4 public order offence.

He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
