Man arrested after attempted robbery in Newmarket
A man tried to take a handbag from a teenage girl on a bus
A man's been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery in Newmarket.
It happened yesterday (March 28) when an 18 year old girl sat on a bus was approached by a man, two tried to steal her handbag.
The victim managed to take the bag back, with the suspect fleeing the bus.
A 44 year old man was later arrested at the Guineas shopping centre.
He's been released on bail until June 9.
