A man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a 16 year old boy in Ipswich last week.

The victim was walking along Handford Road towards town between 11:30am and 12pm on Thursday (21st July).

He was approached by a man who demanded he handed over his bag - which he then did.

The suspect walked off in the direction of Firmin Close.

An 18 year old man from east London is now being questioned on suspicion of robbery.

Detectives are still appealing for witnesses to the incident, particularly anyone who was driving along Handford Road at the time and may have captured dashcam footage.
