Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a man was assaulted in Lowestoft earlier this month.

The victim was approached on Raglan Street outside Nathan’s Convenience Store in the town on Tuesday 15th October at sometime between 3:45pm and 4:10pm.

The suspect punched him in the face and a scuffle then took place before the suspect left the scene.

It's reported both parties were known to each other.

The victim believes that the assault was racially motivated due to earlier comments made.

Witnesses or anybody with any information are asked to contact Lowestoft Police, quoting crime reference 37/58786/24.
