Ipswich defender Leif Davis has signed a new long-term contract with the Premier League club.

Davis, 24, joined Town from Leeds during 2022 and has gone on to help the Suffolk side win promotion from League One to the top flight under manager Kieran McKenna.

"I have loved my time at the club so far and have improved so much during my two seasons here working with this group of players and under a manager who has done so much for me," Davis, whose new deal runs until the summer of 2028, said on the club's website.

"This feels like home now and I am excited to continue the journey."

McKenna said: "Leif has made huge strides over the last two-and-a-half seasons and has developed well, both as a player and as a young man.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to work with him for an extended period and are confident he will continue to work hard to improve and develop in all areas."
