Latitude Festival: Suffolk festival kicks off with headliners Pulp

Thousands are expected to attend

Thousands of people are expected at Latitude Festival this weekend, as it returns to Henham Park for another year.

It's on in Suffolk until Sunday with around 40,000 people expected to attend.

Who is headlining?

This year Latitude is bringing back the English rock band, Pulp, formed in Sheffield in 1978.

They've sold over 10 million records and will be headlining on Friday.

Paolo Nutini will be headlining the mainstage on Saturday.

He is a Scottish singer, songwriter and musician. His debut album, These Streets (2006), and its follow-up, Sunny Side Up (2009), have been certified quintuple platinum by the British Phonographic Industry.

George Ezra will be headlining on Sunday.

He's an English singer-songwriter and guitarist.

After releasing two EPs, Did You Hear the Rain? (2013) and Cassy O' (2014), his next single "Budapest", reached number one in several countries.

Alongside these acts, there will be plenty more.

Latitude has expanded its entertainment by including comedians, writers, theatre performances, and artists.

They even have a section for family, a Mind Body and Zen area, Multiple food stops including celebrity guest chefs and a lake to swim in,

What to bring?

The weather forecast is predicting rain, so make sure you have your wellies and that your tent is waterproof!

If you are staying over the weekend, you may want to think about bringing your own food and a way to cook it, like a camping stove, along with some plates, cutlery and fuel.

There are showers available at Latitude but it can get very dusty very quickly, so baby wipes or flannels are a must as is hand sanitiser.
