Fire crews from Norfolk and Suffolk tackle blaze near Stradbroke

Fire crews from across Norfolk and Suffolk have tackled a large fire near Stradbroke.

In total, 11 appliances from Diss, Harleston, Leiston, Stradbroke, Eye, Debenham, Haverhill, and Ixworth attended the scene on Denham Street yesterday evening (3rd May).

Fire control says it received multiple calls to a building fire, with firefighters arriving to "excessive black smoke".

Crews used two breathing apparatus, two main jets, and two hose reel jets, to help put out the building fire.
