Knife Angel to visit Haverhill next year in memory of murdered teenager Harley Barfield
The artwork is made out of 100,000 blades
The Knife Angel, a sculpture created as part of the campaign against knife crime, is set to visit Suffolk next year.
It will be in Haverhill in September 2024 in memory of murdered 16 year old Harley Barfield.
He was stabbed in Strasbourg Square on January 9, passing away in hospital two days later.
A 16 year old boy - who cannot be named for legal reasons - is set to go on trial next month over his killing.
The British Ironworks Centre has now confirmed the sculpture will visit the town following a four month campaign by Harley's dad Darryl Barfield.
The Knife Angel, also known as the National Monument Against Violence & Aggression, was created by artist Alfie Bradley.
It is formed out of 100,000 knives either seized by police order handed over during knife amnesties.
