Painting by Suffolk artist John Constable could sell for £120,000
It was once thought to be lost
A painting by Suffolk artist John Constable - once thought to be lost - is set to go on auction.
The sketch is dated back to 1814 and shows the house at Flatford, which also appears in the painter's most famous work 'The Hay Wain'.
The tiny hamlet of Flatford situated on the north bank of the river Stour in Suffolk is at the centre of an area now known as "Constable Country".
It's where the painter grew up, and an area that provided the inspiration for much of his work.
Now, an auctioneer on Guernsey has traced the artwork it back to the artists' grandson.
It's thought it could fetch around £120,000 when it goes under the hammer later this month.
