Ipswich Town defender George Edmundson has returned to training along with striker Tyreece John Jules, ahead of the weekend trip to MK Dons.

The defender has been out with an ankle injury since the FA Cup Fourth Round defeat at Burnley earlier this month.

Arsenal loanee Tyreece is also back after suffering a hamstring tear and having to return to his parent club to recover.

Speaking ahead of the game, boss Kieran McKenna said: "Tyreece John-Jules is also back with us so that's good. He is a popular person around the training ground so everyone is pleased to have him back.

“He’s working on the grass so we hope to have him back training with the lads in a couple of weeks. From there, we can make an assessment on introduce him back to the team when he's ready.

“Other than those already sidelined, we have no new injury concerns. We’re in a pretty good place.

"Everyone that was available for last week is also available this weekend."

Town head to Stadium MK on Satruday still third in League One, chasing high flyers Plymouth Argyle and Sheffield Wednesday.

Both clubs will pay tribute to late commentator John Motson with a minutes applause ahead of kick-off.
