Ipswich Town midfielder and forward Panutche Camara is facing the next few months out, after undergoing more surgery.

It's as he continues his recovery from a groin injury.

Speaking to the ITFC website, boss Kieran McKenna confirmed: "Panutche had surgery last week on his adductor area."

"The specialist felt more surgery was required to a slightly different part of his adductor region. It's a really complicated area to have injuries, which I know from personal experience.

"He's had three surgeries now - one at Plymouth and two with us - so it's hard to put an exact timescale on it.

"It's going to be a few months, not a few weeks. We hope that he'll be back playing football again this season."

In better news for the Tractor Boys, Janoi Donacien and Luke Woolfenden could be available for selection over the festive period.

Both missed last Saturday's trip to Wycombe. Both will be checked ahead of Town's fixture against Oxford on Boxing Day at Portman Road.
