Ipswich Witches have been forced to postpone their quarter final first leg fixture in speedway's Knockout Cup due to the weather.

It was due to take place tonight, but the club's released a statement, saying the track won't be suitable for racing "due to adverse weather conditions, along with a forecast for further on and off rain."

No new date has been announced for the fixture, but the Witches have confirmed it will be reorganised.

This comes after the Witches opened up their 2023 season on Monday night at the East of England Arena in a league fixture against Peterborough, securing a 48-42 win.
