Ipswich Town to play RB Leipzig and SV Werder Bremen in pre-season

Ipswich Town are to face Bundesliga opposition as they gear up for life in the Championship

Ipswich Town are set to take on two top German teams as they round off their pre-season.

The Blues are set to compete in the Innsbruck Cup while at a training camp in Austria, taking on Bungesliga sides RB Leipzig and SV Werder Bremen in two 60-minute matches at the Tivoli Stadion.

Both fixtures will be played on July 28 with Leipzig up first, before the game against Werder Bremen.

RB Leipzig finished third in Germany's top division last campaign and have been in the Champions League in each of the last five seasons.

Werder Bremen finished 13th in the Bundesliga table last season.
