Almost all of Ipswich Town's new third kit is sold out - just a day after the all-black shirt went on general sale.

Over 2,000 shirts were sold yesterday, with only small batch of adult shirts remaining as of this morning.

The eye-catching 'blackout' design was designed by kit supplier Umbro in collaboration with the Tractor Boys' most famous fan Ed Sheeran.

It makes the 2022/23 third kit one of the fastest selling shirts in ITFC history.

Speaking to the ITFC website, Club Head of Retail Paul Macro said: "We have seen unprecendented interest and sales for our third shirt this season.

"Our 2022/23 home and away shirts have been hugely popular, but the blackout shirt has been the most sought-after one yet.

"We will soon be confirming how supporters who haven't managed to purchase a shirt this time around can pre-order one for when the Club receives the next batch of stock."
