Ipswich Town have been dealt an injury blow with midfielder Lee Evans side-lined for at least eight weeks.

He suffered a knee injury during the match with Cambridge on February 4 and is facing a lengthy recovery period.

Speaking to the ITFC website, boss Kieran McKenna said: "Lee has seen a knee specialist and they think eight to 10 weeks out."

"It's a different injury in a different knee to what he had earlier in the season.

"Hopefully we’ll see him before the end of the league season.

“It’s a blow, of course."

In better news, Massimo Luongo has returned to training and will be available against Forest Green tomorrow.

George Edmundson is out this weekend with an ankle injury. He's now awaiting a scan.
