Ipswich Town sign Jaden Philogene
The winger's joining from Aston Villa on a four-and-a-half year contract
Ipswich Town has confirmed it's signed Jaden Philogene from Aston Villa.
The 22-year-old winger, who has featured 11 times in the Premier League this season, will be joining the Blues at Portman Road on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
Jaden began his career in the Villa youth system, and has completed loan spells at Stoke City and Cardiff City.
He then joined Hull City permanently in the summer of 2023, scoring 12 times in 32 league appearances.
In July 2024 he returned to Aston Villa and in October he made his Champions League debut, starting against Bayern Munich at Villa Park.
Jaden has also won seven caps and scored three goals for England U21s, playing alongside new teammates Liam Delap and Omari Hutchinson.
“I’m excited to be here and I know there are great players in the squad,” Jaden told the club's website.
“I just want to play as much as possible. As a player I like to dribble and link up play and provide goals and assists. I’m looking forward to it.”
