Ipswich settled for one point following a 2-2 draw away against Rotherham.

The draw means Town, who sit second in the league, missed the chance to cut Leicester's lead at the top of the Championship to a single point.

The Blues came from behind to level in the first-half, after Sam Morsy cancelled out Sam Nombe’s opener.

A goal from Jack Taylor then looked to have won it for Town, with a strike on 88 minutes, but Rotherham found a leveller, with Christ Tiehi making it 2-2 in stoppage time.

Manager Kieran McKenna made three changes to the side which started Saturday’s draw with Birmingham, with Axel Tuanzebe making his first league start, while Kayden Jackson and Marcus Harness both came into the side.

Manager Kieran McKenna told TownTV he was frustrated with the result, but could see some positives from his side’s display: “Coming back from behind away from home, in the Championship at Rotherham, is not an easy thing to do.

"The way we stuck to our game and kept playing saw us take complete control of the game and get into a winning position, despite not getting two clear penalties that should have been.

“The big emotion is frustration, after conceding a set piece goal at the end, but we’ll learn from that.”
