Man charged with drug offences following Ipswich raid

He's been charged with possession with intent to supply controlled Class A drugs

A man has appeared in court accused of drugs offences - following a raid in Ipswich.

Officers arrested 34-year-old Cristian Mester in Main Road, Kesgrave on Thursday, 26th October on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

A warrant was also executed at an address in Ipswich where suspected drugs were seize, as was a mobile phone.

Mester, of Postmill Close, Ipswich, was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply controlled Class A drugs - namely heroin and cocaine.

He was also charged with the acquisition, use or possession of criminal property.

He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 27 October and was bailed by the court to next appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 24 November.

Officers also arrested a 32-year-old woman from Ipswich on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs on 26 October.

She was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre, where she was subsequently bailed to return to police on 25 January.
