A public consultation on two new schools in Ipswich is due to end this week.

The proposals include a new primary and pre-school in the new Henley Gate estate.

Suffolk County Council is still looking for feedback before the full planning application is submitted.

The public consultation, which has been open for nearly two weeks, is due to end on Friday.

The plans have been separated into two phases. The first proposes a 210-place primary school and a 30-place pre-school projected to be open by September 2025.

The second phase includes a possible extension of both schools to be able to accommodate 420 and 60 pupils respectively.

Early design projections have already been already been proposed and are available to view on the council’s website.
