Ipswich house fire leaves person with significant burns
Firefighters were called to the house last night
A fire in Ipswich has left a person with significant burns.
Firefighters were called to a house on Macauley Road just after 8pm last night - where they found smoke coming from a first floor window, and a fire inside.
Four firefighters in breathing apparatus, along with two jets and a hose reel were used to extinguish the fire.
The fire was put out an hour later.
They tell us investigations are now taking place to determine what started it.
