Death of man found unconscious in Ipswich not suspicious says police

The man was found in a residential road earlier this month

Suffolk Police have confirmed the death of a man, who was found unconscious in Ipswich, is not being treated as suspicious.

The man, aged in his 20s, was discovered outside Griffin Court in Brickfield Close on Saturday 10 April.

Officers were notified by the ambulance service shortly after 2.10pm.

He was taken to Ipswich Hospital where he later died.

While his death isn't being treated as suspicious, police say it remains unexplained.

The man's next of kin have been informed and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
